First off, the compact is gorgeous like all Kjaer Weis packaging. I love how convenient it is to just place in your purse and pull out to dab on a blemish or dark under eye circles.
The consistency is creamy and the coverage is more on the full side. It has a sheen to it when applied so I wouldn't describe it as a matte foundation. (This is coming from someone with very dry skin.) I usually use 100% Pure's Bamboo Blur powder on my chin and forehead to remove the shine.
The color range, in my opinion, could still use some work. Since it is a full coverage foundation, I feel like if the color is a little off, it's a little less forgiving than a foundation that isn't full coverage. I've tried lightness, like porcelain, weightless, and silk. I'm somewhere in between like porcelain and weightless. It would be nice to have a compact that has two different colors for those of us in between colors. This would especially be nice during season changes when you may be a little darker in the summer and lighter in the winter. There was a company I used to use years ago that had this duo compact and I loved it. As it stands now, I feel like I have to buy a full size of two colors and mix them which is a pain.
