Some of the Nudus descriptions and swatches of certain colours are very misleading, and Dreamtime is another deception, one that quite upset me because it sounded and looked so promising online. The stick is MUCH browner and more warm-toned than in the picture & swatch, and goes on much browner and MUCH warmer on me. There is obvious red in it, making it darker than 27 Kisses, but it's a slightly warm red, not a cool pinkish red as I expected. While my very pale, extremely cool toned skin (classic Winter) does make colours look warmer by comparison, even wiped on tissue, DT is obviously not cool-toned or remotely mauve, to my eye. It is a slightly warm/almost neutral dark nude. As Zo Zo is almost identical to Survivor, just a bit darker and very slightly purple toned, so DT is almost identical to 27 Kisses, just a bit darker and slightly red toned.
It doesn't flatter my colouring, being too warm and muted. DT, 27K, & Amalia seem drier and more matte than the other Nudus colours. While Nudus is never glossy, these 3 shades are almost powdery in look and feel. They are still moisturising and don't dry out my lips like other brands, but for whatever reason, these colours are just slightly different than the other 9 I tried. They remain the best lipstick formula I've tried nonetheless, with incredibly high quality, organic ingredients, great pigmentation and impressive wear time.
