I love Maya Chia products in general, but The Straight A is my new favorite. I switched to only using clean products several years ago, but finding an effective retinol has been a challenge. I really like Marie Veronique and Blüh Alchemy’s, but after using this once, I knew I found my HG. It’s a very lightweight oil texture that absorbs immediately and leaves skin so unbelievably soft. After using for a month, I’ve noticed definite results in fine lines around my eyes, with small expression lines and my overall skintone is really evening out. This is more effective than the prescription I used and has zero adverse effects. I have combo, sensitive skin and this is moisturizing enough for me on its own, but I still like to wait a few minutes and apply two drops of the Super Couple over it to seal in all the “goodness”. I use the Optimist before applying too. This has become my favorite nightly ritual and I seriously cannot recommend The Straight A highly enough!!!

I know that this product
I know that this product has amazing reviews, but it just wasn’t doing it for my skin. I felt like the oil just kind of sat on my skin and never absorbed. I love all other Maya Chia products! This one just wasn’t for me.

Acts just like the toxic
Acts just like the toxic retinol that I used to use. Love that this is clean and still gives the great results.
I started gradually just as my dermatologist used to recommend when starting retin A.
1st week: 3 nights between uses
2nd week: 2 nights between
3rd week: every other night
4th week : every night if tolerated.
*if at any time I feel like my skin is getting sensitive or sore, I back off a night or 2.

Maya Chia The Straight A
This is pricey, but worth every penny. I use this every other night on my face, neck, and decollete. I wake up a much younger version of my 55 year old self. All day long my skin looks phenomenal. I keep looking at it because I can't believe it. Splurge.

Unsure..
I have sensitive skin and use all May Lindstrom products, but wanted to add an anti-aging product into my routine. I've never used retinol before so I was using this every other night as suggested. I never felt an immediate reaction or anything like that, but the next day my skin would itch and I started getting little skin colored bumps on my forehead and temple area.. which I've never gotten before. I'm not sure if its something I'm supposed to "work through" or not, but I don't think I will continue using it.
