How do you choose which products to carry at Integrity Botanicals?
Every product we carry has to meet three key requirements for quality: safety, effectiveness and, what we at Integrity unscientifically have dubbed, “The Wow Factor.”
How do you evaluate the products on your site?
We personally test each and every product so our customers don’t have to. We review the ingredients of every product that comes across our desk, and each ingredient is cross-referenced with the EWG Skin Deep Database to determine its safety rating. Additionally, we receive extensive product training from many of the brands we carry.
Do your products contain parabens?
All of our products are always free of the following: artificial fragrances, artificial colors*, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, PEG’s, hydroquinone, oxybenzone, sulfates, Triclosan, phenoxyethanol and dimethicone. *except for nail polish
Are any of your products tested on animals?
No. All of our products are cruelty-free. Integrity Botanicals is also a proud co-sponsor of the Humane Cosmetics Act, a bill that would ban animal testing for cosmetics in the U.S. (Note: The European Union has already banned all cosmetic products and ingredients tested on animals, with a phase out that began in 2003.)
Do you carry vegan and/or gluten-free products?
Yes. We do carry a selection of both vegan and gluten-free products. Most are noted at the top of each product description.
Are ALL of your products natural?
The vast majority of our products are, indeed, natural. However, a small selection of products such as nail polish cannot be classified as natural. However, we have worked hard to find only those brands that are non-toxic and free of the nastiest of chemicals. All of our nail polishes are 5-Free: NO dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and camphor.
Are ALL of your products organic?
Some are 100% organic while others have only a portion of organic ingredients.
Why aren’t all of your products organic?
Organic is not a criteria for carrying a product in our store, but natural is. A product may contain organic ingredients, yet still have chemicals added to it. In that case we would definitely not consider it. Additionally, it can be cost prohibitive, especially for smaller companies such as many of the brands we work with, to get their products certified as organic. Many are moving in this direction as they grow.
Does Integrity Botanicals support any environmental causes?
Since our launch, we have donated to and supported Environmental Working Group, one of the nation’s leading environmental health research and advocacy organizations dedicated to protecting human health and the environment.
I am in the shopping cart and wish to checkout, but the checkout button is grayed out and I cannot proceed. Why is this happening?
Please check your cart to see if you have selected more than 3 free samples. If you have added more than 3 free samples, please remove the excess quantity and click "Update". The checkout icon should now appear.
I signed up for your email list but haven't received a special discount code?
It can take our servers up to an hour to email you the code, although it's usually generated within a matter of minutes. You will receive two emails. The first one is to confirm your subscription and the second one you receive will include the discount code. Our emails can sometimes get caught up in spam filters or junk folders. Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe senders list to ensure all communication from us. I'm trying to use a discount code but it's not applying to certain items in my cart?
All discount codes to our store, including signing up for our Newsletter no longer apply to May Lindstrom, Vintner's Daughter, Kypris or In Fiore products. (All retailers have been asked to exclude May Lindstrom, Vintner's Daughter, Kypris and In Fiore from any type of discounting.) There are also a few other exceptions such as some full size gift sets, which are noted in the product descriptions.
Is there anything wrong with the products you have on sale?
No. Most products we have on sale are either being discontinued by us and/or by the manufacturer. Others may be undergoing packaging changes and/or reformulations so these are offered at a discount so we can go through our stock and have the newest products available. If you have any questions about any particular item, please feel free to contact us anytime.
I claimed my reward points voucher and tried entering it into the discount field upon checkout. When I tried to use another discount code or promotional code, the website won't accept the code?
Rewards point vouchers are considered discount codes and our website will not accept more than one discount code per transaction.
After claiming my reward points voucher, I decided I wanted to use a different discount code or promotion instead. How do I reclaim my rewards and get them put back into my account?
Any unused reward points vouchers will still show in the Reward Points window, under “Your Rewards”. You may need to scroll down to see it as it may be a bit cutoff since we added the $20 voucher option. The rewards voucher does not expire and can still be used for future purchases.
Is your website secure?
Yes. When you shop online with us, all of your personal and credit card information is encrypted, verified and authenticated with our SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate.
Is my email shared with any third parties?
Never. We do not share or sell any email provided, through any method. You can be assured that your data is private—from our email newsletter to checkout, product reviews, giveaways and more.

How do I request free samples?

Will I get a confirmation and tracking # for my order?
Yes. Once you submit your order, you will get an e-mail confirmation with your order details. We will also send you tracking information once your item(s) have been shipped.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. You can also pay with a PayPal account.
Where do you ship?
We ship within the U.S. and Internationally. We offer a USPS flat rate as our shipping option. For more detailed shipping information, click here.
What is the sales tax rate?
We are required by law to charge 7% sales tax when shipping products to New Jersey residents only. Non-New Jersey residents do not pay sales tax.
How can I be notified when a product is back in stock?
Products that are out of stock will have a green pop up tab on the right hand side of the page that says, "Notify Me." Please enter your email address and/or cell phone number on the product page. We will notify you via email and/or text message when the particular item is back in stock. NOTE: Please be sure to add email@example.com to your safe senders list in order to ensure delivery to your email inbox.
Can I pre-order an out of stock item?
Yes. There are some items that are available for pre-order on our site. This button will appear next to the wish list button on the product page. If the pre-order button does not appear, you can also pre-order an out of stock item by calling us at (973) 543-2826. We can place the order for you over the phone and ship the item(s) once they arrive in our store.
How do I return a product?
Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us (973) 543-2826 with your order number and items you wish to return. We will provide you with an RMA number and instructions on how to return the product(s).
How are gift certificates sent?
Gift certificates are sent electronically to the email address in which the order was placed. E-gift cards can be printed at home or forwarded via email with instructions to the recipient. Once gift certificates are issued, they are non-refundable and can not be redeemed for cash.
Do gift certificates expire?
Gift certificates do not expire.
Does a gift certificate need to be used in full?
If you purchase from our website using a gift certificate and do not use the full amount, the balance will remain on the gift certificate until it reaches zero.
What if I need to return items that were paid for using a gift certificate?
If you wish to return a product(s) that was purchased using a gift certificate, the portion of the order that was paid for by the gift certificate will be refunded back to the original gift certificate.
