Josh Rosebrook Vital Balm Cream is a uniquely effective, natural facial moisturizer that combines the occlusive benefits of a balm with the absorption and luxury finish of a cream. Aloe Vera, whole organic actives and rich plant oils deliver potent nutrient synergy to support skin regeneration. Indian Senna Seed, also known as a 'botanical hyaluronic acid,' offers high polysaccharides which are responsible for the skin cell's natural ability to hydrate and hold moisture while also critical for skin repair. Simply the best!
I love the Vital Balm Cream from Josh Rosebrook. After going cleaner with my skincare about ten years ago, I tried soooo many different moisturizers. Once I tried this cream, my search was over. I’m not sure if it’s the mango butter in it, or what, but it keeps my 69 year old skin so moisturized and protected during the day, even during our cold Minnesota winters. It’s expensive, for my budget, but I won’t use anything else. I also use the Hydrating Accelerator (the best!), the Hydration Boost Concentrate (still on the fence about the effectiveness of this), and the Active Infusion Serum in my daily routine. I also rotate his shampoo and conditioner with another brand. I’m a Josh Rosebrook fan!

I love this stuff!
The vital balm cream is amazing! I have aging and dry skin, and this cream totally hydrates my skin and is an excellent primer to my makeup. Can’t recommend it enough!!

Super unique texture--feels very luxe it's whipped without being watery
I have not felt another cream of this texture in the green beauty space. It is like a cross between a mousse and a pudding and is such a beautiful color that the sight and feel of it are a wonderful experience. Over the years I have used May Lindstrom Blue Cacoon, Mahalo Rare Indigo and Leahlani Bless Balm. I am a definite fan of a blue tansy balm. The Josh Rosebrook mask and vital balm cream are both in current rotation and I love the herbal anise scent, but the texture of the mask is a bit heavy and the texture of the cream is a bit oily. Of the crew, the Bless Balm is my favorite---I only switched because I'm *that girl* that's always gotta try something different. I will for sure finish the JR products, but will go back to the Bless Balm. I do like that I can use the vital balm cream in the morning, especially through the harsh winter months when a little extra body in a day cream is welcomed. It sits nicely under makeup and never made me look greasy.

I received the Vital Balm
I received the Vital Balm in a subscription beauty box this fall and was a little hesitant to try it on my reactive and rosacea-prone skin. After reading such glowing reviews about it, I gave it a try and it quickly became a I-can’t-be-without-this type of product. Before I finished the first jar, I made sure to order a second one from Integrity Botanicals (my favorite green beauty store) so I wouldn’t have even a day without this aptly names balm. It truly is vital to keeping my skin balanced and calm.

This is my skin savior!
Seriously, I started looking into ingredients because my skin was rough and dry. I just couldn't figure out what would make my skin back to having smooth texture in winter. It would become dry as hell, patchy as ever, and I would not feel good about my skin. Over a year, I have seen improvements with oils and butters but still it was not enough. Enter the vital balm. Ahh, I found it. This is it. If you have dry and rough skin like I did, this is what can really save you. My skin didn't see much effect with shea butter but this, mango seed butter and indian senna seed is just...WOW. It is the most effective product for dry or dehydrated skin. The texture is incredible, it is a fluffy light blue cream, but upon applying it on your skin, it becomes like a balm to seal your skin. So yes, this is VITAL, indeed.
