Application+

For best results prep skin with your favorite Vapour Primer and spot conceal with Illusionist Concealer.

Shake Velvet Glow Foundation well before use. Dot onto skin with fingertips. Buff in a circular motion with Vapour Foundation Brush moving from center of face outward. Build coverage as desired.

The complexion may be set with Perfecting Powder using the Vapour Powder Brush.

Pro Tips:

To reduce the appearance of redness start with a sheer application of Velvet Glow Foundation. Blend into skin by gently massaging with fingertips. Layer a bit more product on any areas that need more coverage and massage in before perfecting the finish by buffing in with Vapour Foundation Brush.

To make your foundation last all day long, roll a very small amount of Loose Perfecting Powder across the skin between primer and foundation. Then roll another light layer of powder to lock your look in place.

Lovely product but steer clear if you have dry skin

I was so excited when Vapour came out with a serum foundation. I really love their products and have a perfect shade match in their soft-focus foundation, it was just a bit too oily/shiny for the oilier parts of my face (T-zone) and doesn't have great staying power. I've been using the Gressa serum foundation, which is almost perfect but doesn't have a great shade match for my skin. Sadly, this isn't my holy grail. Aside from a slightly oily T-zone, I have pretty dry skin which is only getting drier as I age. This went on beautifully and had a lovely velvet finish, but over a couple of hours it REALLY dries my face out, accentuates the lines I have and makes everything so tight that new lines show up that I can't normally see. Hoping it was their primer that was the issue, I tried it without the primer (same problem), and over my heavy night cream, but alas still had the same issue after a couple hours of wear. I still love Vapour products, just wanted to weigh in on this foundation as it was not a great fit for my dry skin. I'll probably go back to Gressa or the Soft Focus foundation from Vapour for want of a perfect fit.

Just okay

I have very dry skin and unfortunately this just accentuated it, it also gave a lighter cast on my skin in some areas rather than blending in. I don’t think this is necessarily a reflection on the product—more my skin. I think it would work for someone with less dry skin, it just wasn’t for me. I prefer the Soft Focus Foundation from Vapour.
